The only thing I see different is the shape of her lips, less “betty boop” and more “realisticly full”. And the mout looks slightly wider, but I believe it’s because for once she doesn’t wear her constant frown+pout expression but a great “cocky witch of the wilds” one. She looks more like herself now than how she would have look in DA2 if they had added her.
They changed texture and model, of course she’s not EXACTLY like she was on DA:O, textures weights HEAVILY on the final look of a 3d head and body model (two identical head shapes with two different textures looks less alike than two slightly different head shapes with the same texture), but if you compare DA:I Morrigan with an image of DA:O morrigan you’ll notice the face proportions, the shape of the jaw, the shape of the eye and the nose are almost IDENTICAL. She looks more Morrigan than the Sacred Ashes Tralier one.
This is not DA2, and it’s not Unreal anymore. People should quit bitching about non-existent issues over a TRAILER.
Listen to the voice of reason! DA2 wasn’t on Unreal engine though but a heavily modified Eclipse, but anyway.
It’s gonna be out in 2014. Using textures and models from 2009 would be… Questionable. And she looks perfect. The DA:O Morrigan was always a little odd for me, but that’s where imagination came to play. :) And now she’s just simply older, and gorgeous. <3
